Uniform prescription pattern
**********

Dear All,

Urgent need to introduce guidelines for ?GOOD PRESCRIPTION PRACTICES? all over the country

There needs to be standard format for the Rx & it could be printed form where in the physician will write down or use the computer to ?fill in the blanks?. The format can be decided after national consensus by medical council, IMA, Pharmacy associations.

Is there any need to say why this is needed? All of us know the problems of incomplete, unauthentic, and difficult to read prescriptions causing at times even medication errors. Several surveys done have already shown this.

Thank you all.

With regards
