Teaching Pharmacology and Therapeutics (4)
***********

Dear Dr Mathur,

Your MD programme in Clical Pharmacology is good. In
any case students who do postgraduation in any of the
clinical speciality do learn about specific drug
prescribing as well as some of the popular brands
available in their own field. The problem is with
undergraduates, who do not manage to get admission
into postgraduate courses and join as Medical Officers
in Public sector or start their private practice. They
have had no idea about drug prescribing and usually
do not have a guide/mentor available at their place
of work, thus primarily learn from MRs visiting them.

Sincerely,
Suneeta
