Dear All,

Greetings.
Usefulness of Drug Information Centres are well known. There are many hospital based centres especially in institutions offering master's programme in Pharmacy Practice (Pharmacy Colleges) across the country. Health Professionals and consumers are encouraged to utilize the facility.

There are few independent centres not associated with educational or hospital organizations. DIC of Karnataka State Pharmacy Council, Maharastra State Pharmacy Council and Pharma Information Centre of Tamil Nadu (Chennai) are important ones.

Here is a small article titled "Where to Get Information", though basically addressed to consumers, appeared in "Know Your Medicine Column" of The New Indian Express's fornight supplement Health on 20 December 2005. It may be of interest to at least some friends.
