Drug prices (4)
********

Dear Pranav,

I am happy that youngsters like you are in the group. Your observations are very right. When a MBBS graduate passes out of medical college, he has had no exposure to drug prescribing, since internship is mostly spent preparing for entrance examination, and if he/she does not get into postgraduation, the only teacher available to tell them about treating common ailments
is the med rep. That is how most of the drug prescribing is dominated by drug companies. The second part of your observation is also partly right,
specially for practicing physicians.

Keep up the movement for change.

Sincerely,
Suneeta
