Dear Dr. Roy Chaudhury,

  It would be really useful if a simple manual/guidebook for consumers about commonly available brand names for the same drug could be brought out, to enable consumers to figure out if a cheaper one is likely to be equally effective. The chemists tend to advise on the basis of their own interests .
