Revived India-Drug (16)
**********
Dear Prof. Roy Chaudhury,
Thank you very much for rejuvenating India-Drug Network.
Yes Sir, it is our long cherished dream that everybody will get quality medicines at affordable price at the time of their need.
We are trying our best to inculcate the concept of EML, DTG & RUM amongst the stakeholders for a long time. Though there are some results, but we feel that there should have an effective policy for its proper implementation.
Latest drafted Pharmaceutical Policy should include the following:
a.. The concepts of EML, DTG & RUM require to be incorporated in the course curriculum of Medical, Pharmacy & Nursing.
b.. An effective mechanism should be framed to curb unethical promotion of Medicines.
c.. More stress requires to be given on research on orphan diseases.
d.. Arrange for designated court for drug cases for quick disposal.
Hope these issues could be discussed in this forum.
Thanking you and with best regards.
Yours sincerely,
Subhash C. Mandal
