Thanks for reviving the India Drug Network.I will be happy to participate and contribute to its deliberation. As you mentioned there are number of issues which need to be discussed and deliberated upon by the medical profession. One of the most important being the effect of WTO ,TRIPS on the
access to essential drugs. This would be effecting not only the availability and prices of essential drugs in the developing countries but would also adversely effect the growth of pharmaceutical industry in the developing world, making access to essential drugs out of reach of majority of population.
