Dear friends of AIDAN,

Greetings from Dharwad,
   
  As discussed and decided at last meeting, AIDAN will meet on 6th July 2006, from 10 am to 5 pm at Sevagram, Yatri Nivas, Wardha. 

  Following is the tentative list of agendas 
    
   Minutes of the last AIDAN meeting:  
 
   *Update of the Supreme Court case on drug pricing and evolve ideas and methods to create pressure on the government through sustained advocacy, through all means: media, involving other networks, parliament questions, articles, etc, rather than just focusing on the case. by Dr Anurag Bhargava & Mr. Chinu   
   *Pamphlet in English and Hindi which outlines the key drug related issues at this stage, from drug trials to TRIPS, to prices to unsafe and irrational drug and Methods to widely disseminate this. by Dr Anurag Bhargava.   
   *Update on the IMA meet on Hepatitis B and Polio eradication.   
   *Streamlining of committees and membership of AIDAN. 
   *An in-depth discussion from different members, partners and supporters of AIDAN with regard to the drug issues that they are working on and evolve a plan as to how AIDAN could be part of it. 
   *Any other agendas with permission. 

HOW TO REACH SEVAGRAM, YATRI NIVAS, WARDHA.
Wardha junction railway station is connected by trains from Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai. From Wardha railway station autorikshwas are available, with fare costs Rs 50 to Yatri Nivas. Accommodation and food charges for the day would roughly be Rupees 80 for double bed room and Rupees 30 for common dormitory. Meals cost would be Rupees 80 per person.
