E-DRUG: Blanket hepatits B vaccination questionable in India (2)
----------------------------------------------------------------
Dear E-druggers
I agree with the views of Dr Anant Phadke brought in by Dr Gopal Dabhade.
Because the vaccines are manufactured with profit motive and not philanthrophy so effort will be there to ensure that these sell.
In Nagpur, India, we see various service clubs and NGOs organising Hepatitis B vaccination camps. I am sure that this must be happening at other places. Who motivates them for such projects is anybody's guess.
It does not make any sense to blanketly order hepatitis B vaccination for the population when other more pressing health needs are pending attention.
