Bidel and Nimesulide in 4th week of pregnancy(5)
-----------------------------------------

April 15, 2005

Dear Mr. Amar,

Tab Bidel (Cefadroxil, as confirmed by you) has not been found to have an adverse effect on fetus till date. Cefadroxil falls under Pregnancy Risk Factor B (which means that animal studies do not indicate risk to the fetus and there are no controlled human studies OR animal studies to show an adverse effect on fetus but well controlled studies in pregnant women have failed to demonstrate a risk).

The source of this information is established references AHFS Drug Information, 2002 and the database Reprorisk.

I hope you find these points useful and please donot hesitate to write back to us if you have any more queries.

Thanks,
Ms. Sukhpreet
