[In response to Dr. Usha Gupta's message to India-Drug...Mod]

Hello everybody,

Thanks for all your posts!

>>>
We would be happy to answer your query, if you are little more specific.
>>>

What other information can i provide you?

>>>
However, at its face value it looks a most irrational combination.
>>>

Thanks for agreeing with me!

>>>
If this combination is available in the hospital/market, it is self
explanatory that it is registered.
>>>

I disagree with that. Taking any information printed on the label for
granted, I don't think is a right approach. There are a good number of
people out there who are taking advantage of our inability to check
the details printed on the labels of not only drugs, but also other
consumables. Most of our attitude is not to question anything. For
example, my colleague was of the opinion that there may be some reason
for adding Lignocaine, which we may not be knowing. One day our
country will have a reasonable method available to each and every
practicing physician and pharmacist to check the claims of a drug
manufacturer. Till then community support is the only way we may be
able to counter these issues.

Thanks again,
