I am a senior faculty in Pharmacy at Annamalai University, Tamil nadu, 
India. I am interested in counterfeit medicine. I am looking forward for 
support even to carry out a project. I had an experience of fake or 
substandard medicine but of course some 13 years before. I purchased a 
paracetamol syrup of leading brand and it did not work for my son. On advice 
from my doctor friend I used a physician sample and that worked. Even I 
talked to the company and they took the sample from me and did not inform 
anything. Of course I too did not pursue. I am interested to interect with 
your production. Please let me know whether I could be helpful.

There is one organization, consumer society based at Ahemedabad, have tested 
many pharmaceutical products and published the results. You may contact 
them.
