Dear I-Drug Participants,

By and large in our country, drugs are sold by brand names. Very few drugs are sold by generic names. It has been observed that same drug is sold by  a single company by generic as well as brand name. The observation made by Munish Ahuja is correct as we too have observed that sometime generic products are more expensive than branded ones although there is a general feeling that generic products are cheaper than branded ones. This issue needs to be addressed in detail.
