Response to list of OTC drugs in India
-----------------------------------------

We have no OTC List simply because the FDA/Health Ministry has too much

on its hand to do, and not enough professional manpower. Ideally, they
should involve professionals, and get the list done. Since we have
waited for too long for this to happen, and nothing is happening, I
think we I-druggers and other health professionals should take the
initiative , make an OTC list, discuss it threadbare, and submit it to
the FDA/Health Ministry on a platter, for consideration. Should we
start doing this dear I-druggers ?

Is there a proper definition for Life Saving Drugs ? Can't Paracetamol
be called life saving to a child who have VERY high fever ?
I think what Dr. Chaudhary is implying are Emergency Drug List (or
should we call them by some other name ???) Whatever we think of
calling them, I think WE should also take the initiative to frame this
list of drugs too...........
