Response to enquiry regarding awareness of HIN in India
--------------------------------------------------------
Dear Ms. Sunitha Srinivas:
Yes, the HIN Project is being supervised from New Delhi and Mr. Ranjan
Dwiwedi is the right person to give you any information about this
project. I understand that though three states in India (Orissa,
Karnataka and Delhi) were to get the benefit of free access to some
1000 biomedical journals, it did not happen. India was excluded from
among the developing countries which were given this benefit. That is
the reason you do not find anyone accessing through this site. Dr. Ram
Raj Urs of Rajiv Gandhi Health Science University at Bangalore would be
able to give you the correct email address of Mr. Rajan Dwiwedi.
With regards
A. Ratnakar
