Use of anti retroviral drugs in India
----------------------------------------------
Dear Idrug participants,
Greetings and wish you all a great year ahead.
To ensure the initiation of a good discussion in Idrug, we would be
interested in the issue of use of anti retroviral drugs for HIV
patients. The Government of India is committed to providing such drugs
in 100,000 people with HIV in 2004. This raises the problems in
getting medicines to the persons, getting proper treatment schedules
and getting a high rate of compliance.
I would be interested to get views from you all as to how this could be
done.
Looking forward to a good discussion.
Wish all best wishes.
Prof. Roy Chaudhury
President,
