[india-drug] Survey for Subscribers of Idrug

(Dr. Sheth has brought up an important issue. As we are in the process
of getting the response to the survey, it would be nice to look back
before we take our concept forward. In fact the first message from Dr.
Hogerzeil for the Idrug did carry the objectives of Idrug. In any case
I will post the write up that has been prepared to invite new
participants to join Idrug.
This becomes all the more important because messages that cannot be
posted on Idrug keep appearing and I send individual responses to them.
Eg: messages regarding sponsorship/funding for training courses
announced in Idrug.
As we are approaching the first year anniversary of Idrug in Febuaury,
kindly replicate the process of sending across the write up to as many
medical associations, student organizations and other health care
groups, as possible.
Many thanks???SS)

Survey for Subscribers of Idrug
------------------------------------------

Dear Sunitha,

As we get into this major survey, would you provide the following
information?

Before I respond it may be a good idea for me to revisit objectives
laid down for Idrug discussion group and find out how they are being
met.

Was it created to encourage national level debates on product safety,
problem solving, information dissemination on important health
issues, check out new concepts, current topics, general updates on
happenings, surveys or seek information on personal projects etc etc ?

Or did it have a singular holistic objective of promoting EDMs and RUDs

and improved accessibility of medicines?

Or both objectives?

Please clarify to me so that I can do a quick comment on performance so

far.

Regards

P D Sheth
