WHO Model List in five languages

Dear all,
We are pleased to inform you that the latest WHO Model List of
Essential Medicines is now on the web in five languages (Chinese,
English, French, Russian, Spanish) with the Arabic text being added
within the next few days. It is posted on the EDM web site
(www.who.int/medicines) from here you can easily find it. The direct
address is:

The documents are available in PDF and in Word Format. They also
include a general introduction of a few pages which summarizes the
background to the selection and the recommended use of the Model List.
These documents are in the public domain and you are all actively
encouraged to copy, reprint, disseminate and use the information as
much as possible. Especially the introductory text may be useful for
teaching purposes or for use in articles and/or reviews. When
reprinting large numbers of copies, please ensure that the source of
the information is clearly acknowledged.
