The point about the importance of a Drugs and Therapeutic Committee and
periodic review made by Dr. Sudarshan is very valid.
The importance of a dynamic process of selection of drugs on the EDL as
well as a scientific basis for quantification of needs is obvious. The
efforts taken in this direction especially by a DTC will always be
rewarding.
