Dear Members,

	The 12th Expert Committee on use of Essential Medicines was held from
April 15-19, 2002 at Geneva.  Details of the WHO Model List and other
key documents can be accessed on

for access to HIV related medicines - selection, price, quality log on

Your comments and suggestions on the contents and use of the Model List
are welcome particularly those related to drugs which should be deleted
from the list along with the rationale and supporting references. 
Also, if a new drug should be added send the name with the rationale.

This will facilitate the ongoing revision process of the WHO Model Drug
List.
