ARV white list
--------------

The move of the WHO to publish an ARV white list is welcome. We in
India must also make attempts to develop a "white list" and share the
experiences of procurement agencies to reduce the burden of inspections
and improve the quality of drugs.

(As suggested by Dr. Leela McCullough, Director of Information
Services, Satellife, Boston, the issues like- What are the
steps needed to create the white list for India? Where will the
information come from?-- are to be dealt with because the electronic
discussion group is an ideal medium for the collection and compilation
of material.----Sunitha)
