L'Agence Européenne des Médicaments a finalisé un guide sur la 
pharmacovigilance des médicaments utilisés chez l'enfant (de la naissance à 
l'âge de 18 ans; c'est le premier guide qui se consacre exclusivement sur la

 European Medicines Agency finalises guideline on pharmacovigilance for 
medicines used in children

The European Medicines Agency (EMEA) has finalised a guideline on the 
conduct of pharmacovigilance for medicines used by the paediatric 
population - children from birth to 18 years of age. This is the first 
guideline to focus exclusively on the issues of safety of medicines in 
children.

The guideline is preparatory work for the implementation of the new 
regulation on medicinal products for paediatric use, which will be entering 
into force later this year.
