E-drug: Disposal of cotrimoxazole syrup (cont)

A little discussion with our drug destruction officer yielded the following
suggestion:

How about neutralising it with sodium citrate or bicarbonate. Perform
excessive dilutions with huge amounts of water to attain ineffective
concentration. Use the solution to mix with cement and mortar for
construction or building.
