* Generic version of Tenofovir tentatively approved by US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
* New HIV integrase inhibitor approved by the European Union and the US FDA
* New lower-strength Kaletra® (lopinavir + ritonavir) tablet for pediatric HIV patients 
* Global Fund's interim quality assurance policy for multi-source products
* Registration status of Viread® (tenofovir) and Truvada® (tenofovir + emtricitabine) released.
