E-DRUG: Beyond WHO Stop TB? (2)
-----------------------------------------------

E-druggers might benefit from looking at the AIDSMAP website's TB News
page:
http://www.aidsmap.com/en/news/134A3C5E-97EB-454F-950C-DE64DDB4F941.asp

- there are lots of TB items there, including discussion of approaches
other than DOTS. It's time to 'mainstream' TB within health and
development, much as needs to happen (and is partially happening
already) with HIV. Sticking with vertical programming is necessary
sometimes, but not as a long-term strategy. We need to re-site TB and
HIV care within a comprehensive and integrated approach that brings
communities, affected people and health services together in a new kind
of partnership if we are to find a way through to better health for all.
