E-DRUG: Kenya Medicine Prices Monitor

Price is one of the major barriers to reliable access to medicines while
availability of medicines is also a major determinant of access. In Kenya
quarterly surveys are conducted to monitor medicine prices in the country.

In these surveys information is collected on availability, affordability and
price variation on a basket of medicines in the public private and mission
sectors. The monitoring of medicine prices in Kenya has been made possible
through a collaborative project  by the Kenya Ministry of Health, World
Health Organization (WHO) and *HAI Africa.* The collaboration project
receives financial support from DFID.
