E-DRUG: RFI: Standard Treatment Guidelines methodology?

Dear all,

At Ministry of Health Suriname we are in the process of defining a terms of
reference that should guide the development, approval and introduction into
practice of Standard Treatment Guidelines. 

Currently many professional bodies are developing STGs', which has led to some protocols that have been adopted by MOH, however a uniform approach is lacking. 

We are interested to hear from the experiences of other countries, as well as some guidance to reference materials. Suriname has an Essential Medicines List and a National Medicines Policy. We are especially interested in the working relation between protocol developing structures as well as the selection (EML) committee.
