 I would like to share some of the news /information that I have on Zinc
Formulations:

 1.  On Thursday 23 November 2006, ICDDR,B and The ACME Laboratories Ltd will be
launching Baby Zinc in Bangladesh.
  Baby Zinc is a dispersible zinc tablet.

 2. Govt of India company "BIBCOL" is negotiating with Nutriset of France  for
transfer of technology of dispersible ZincSulphate tablets.( As I send this
mail, I understand that BIBCOL is in the process of upgrading their
production to suit the new technology)

3. Press Release from Dr. Reddy's Lab:
*Dr Reddy's launches 'Z & D' – Zinc therapy for effective management of
diarrhea *

*April 3 2006, Hyderabad, India: *Dr Reddy's has launched "Z&D"- a
Zinc Sulphate formulation indicated as Adjuvant therapy along with ORS
in the management of Acute and persistent Diarrhea. Available in 10 & 20 mg
Dispersible orange flavoured Tablets as well as in 10mg/ml & 20mg/ml Dry
Syrup for pediatric use, this product is intended to supplement the ORS
(Oral Rehydration Salt) market.
