E-DRUG: Antibiotic use in surgery in Viet Nam

I am a volunteer pharmacist in Quy Nhon, Viet Nam. I am working with
surgeons here to change their practice of using antibiotics for about eight
to ten days after surgery to one dose 30 minutes before incision. I am
interested in hearing from anyone who is working in a hospital in Viet Nam
where using antibiotics prophylactically in this way is standard practice.
The surgeons I am working with would appreciate learning from your first
hand experience and value your support.
