Standard treatment guidelines should be the new paradigm in treatment and care of diseases in Africa. With our abundant but mismanaged resources (e.g. Nigeria) coupled with high external debt, several diseases- HIV/AIDS, TB etc are ravaging the continent.

Several stakeholders should be involved in the formulation and enforcement of STG. When we have STG and EDL in place, at least we can effectively tackle most of the diseases making life meaningless in Africa.
