E-DRUG: List of Technical Agencies in Developing Countries?
-----------------------------------------------------------
[Again, not specifically on essential drugs, but a relevant question for pharmacists working south-south on supporting governments and projects in the south. WB]
I'm working with Ministries of Health, and one of the areas of interest is
to put together a list well respected technical agencies that are based in
the 'South' to foster South-South collaboration. THe scope is broad, and it
would include capabilities in health project management and implementation,
operations research, M&E, procurement and supply chain management,
conducting market research, doing advocacy, training, behaviour change,
among other areas--but all in the health sector.
Organizations of interest may be in the public or private sector and may
include academic institutions, consulting firms, faith based groups, market
research firms, etc.
Initially, the geographic interests are Africa and Asia.
Would appreciate if you could refer me to lists that have been previously
prepared or you may suggest the organizations individually, hopefully with
some contact info (either telehpone, email or website contact)
Thanks a lot.
