E-DRUG: What is RFI?
----------------------------------------------

This is a rhetorical question.
I have found out that RFI is acronym for Request For Information.
But I assume that I am not the only one who has wondered about it.

Please don't use acronyms without explaining them.
RFI in the title is usually unnecessary.

[We agree Stein. Acronyms (not explained) are not acceptable. However, the length of the line allowed in the title for e-drug messages is limited and usually Request for Information will not fit. The message usually makes it clearly that the contributor is looking for information. Maybe you are right, it is not necessary to put anything in the title and the reader can find out later whether the contributor is asking for information or sharing information. I had thought it might help when the archives are being searched. BS]
