Dear E-druggers,

We have also had difficulty in the past sourcing invermectin for non
governmental partners to whom  we offer our Procurement Services. In one
instance we ended up with an outfit in the UK that supplies medicines on a
named-patient basis only,  but even this did not work because of other
factors. Eventually, we had to recommend that the partner resorts to the
donation programme. There may well have been bottlenecks which can
contribute to the access distortions that our colleague refers to. Is this
a problem that can be expected to increase in the near future,  from a
programme response point of view?
