The agenda and documents for the Expert Committee meeting on the 
Selection and Use of Essential Medicines does not contain a single 
reference to the ATC classification system for medicines.

I wonder why one part of WHO (in its work with medicines on a global 
basis) does not use the classification system for medicines that is 
recommended for global use by another part of WHO.

Nothing can become a standard if it is not used.
