Dear Raj Yaidya:
Thank you for sharing the India experience. Thai inspectors are also
employed by the government with the same salary as other civil
servants. Efforts to disallow them to work part-time in pharmacies
failed, as the government could not pay the kind of wages the
inspectors could make in pharmacies. This lead to inspectors have
dual roles.
