Dear Moldovian colleagues,

1. There is an enormous amount of information on metamizole 
(dipyrone); the best source is probably the German BUKO group, 
also connected to Healthnet.
2. Naproxen is probably the best choice as general-purpose
analgesic if paracetamol is not powerful enough.  A stronger 
alternative is tramadol, though it may be abused and 
has some side effects of its own. It is a modified opiate after all.
