Dear e-druggers

Having been on leave since mid-December, I returned to the office 
today only to be confronted by the message carrying the notice of 
Felicity Mayfield's death!

I was the provincial pharmacist for the Matebeleland South province 
of Zimbabwe when Flick arrived to work at the provincial hospital.  
She had already worked herself into the ears of administrators, 
pharmacy, medical and nursing staff by the time I was ready to 
return to South Africa at the beginning of 1991.  I concur with 
everything that has been said about her.

To name a pharmacy scholarship after Flick could not be more 
fitting for one who was as well-known and respected for her 
humaneness and kindness as she was for her professionalism as a 
pharmacist.

She will not be forgotten by those who knew her!
