E-drug: Fraud by Abbott and Takeda (cont'd)

Dear Colleagues,

With reference to the fraud by Abbott and Takeda reported earlier, I
wonder what part the individual practitioners played in this? Did
they refuse the holidays, the educational grants, the hospitality,
etc? No they accepted it without questioning - except that is for
those who were brave enough to speak out.

The pharmaceutical companies have been taken to task, but what
has happened to the folk who accepted the 'devils coinage'? While
there are folk who will continue to do this the companies will
continue to sail close to the wind.
