E-drug: Chemical safety information
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Thought this might be of interest, even if it has little to do with
essential drugs. KM]

Chemical safety information

Thousands of chemical safety documents are now available free of
charge as part of the International Programme on Chemical Safety's
new INCHEM service.

The service--aimed mainly at lesser-developed countries and
organisations with limited resources--offers rapid access to
information on chemical risks and chemical risk management from
such global sources as the International Agency for Research on
Cancer, Joint Expert Committee on Food Additives, and Joint
Meeting on Pesticide Residues. Included are environmental health
criteria monographs, health and safety guides for chemicals, and
poison information monographs.
