E-drug: Pharmaceutical policy research needs
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Cross-posted from Pharm-policy. HH]

I'm starting up a research program in psychiatric pharmaceutical
related research. I want to get a sense of some of the pressing
research needs, from a public health perspective, in terms of
pharmaceutical policy. Some initial ideas I have are performing
rigorous and industry-independent pharmacoeconomic studies of
cheap old drugs versus new ones. I'd like some more suggestions
though, so if you have some please post them.

Thanks,
