E-drug: Pharmacists to Population Ratio (cont'd)

Legislation of pharmacies is different from one country to another. In
some countries pharmacies can be freely opened, but not in others.
There is not a standard on inhabitants/pharmacy.

In Spain the number is 2800 inhabitants per pharmacy. In nordic
countries, where opening of a pharmacy is free, the ratio of
inhabitants/pharmacy is very high, because the pharmacies are very
big, with a lot of pharmacists and the market has regulated itself.
