E-DRUG: Low Molecular Weight Heparins (2)
-----------------------------------------

When it comes to the prevention/treatment of deep vein thrombosis and
pulmonary embolism they probably all are the same. For use in people
who have unstable angina at this point the drug of choice seems to be
enoxaparin. So far it is the only one that has been shown to have a
benefit in this condition.

These drugs are considered therapeutically similar by those of us advising
the Ontario government, once equivalent doses known.
