E-drug: Urine Therapy (cont)
----------------------------
With reference to the urine therapy and the ex-President of India as
referred to in one of the messages. It is not the President but an
ex-Prime Minister (Mr Morarjee Desai) who practised it routinely. He
died sometime ago and was 99 years old at the time of his death. He
was a staunch Gandhian and led a very rigidly controlled and
disciplined life. While urine may or may not have been the cause of
his longetivity and the good health he usually enjoyed, it is true
that naturopaths recommend this therapy in this country for a wide
variety of ailments (e.g. chronic skin conditions). First sample of
the morning has to be consumed and I am sure that many people do it
here even to day. Several books written in vernacular or even in
English can be easily found here on this subject. Our ignorance can
only force us to wonder as to how this works at all and if there can
ever be any side effects.

all these E-drug messages have helped? WB]
